Minu emal oli üks kolleeg, kes kudus mulle kunagi kindad. Ma ei käinud siis veel koolis aga need kindad on mul siiani meeles, sest need olid Elu Ilusaimad. Pika laieneva randmega, üleni mustris, puna-valge-rohelisekirjud, otstes narmad. Ma kandsin nood ribadeks, ema lõikas randmed otsast ja hoidis alles, sest ma ei lubanud neid ära visata. Need olid nii armsad.
Sellest on palju aega möödas ja sama tüüpi kindad pole mul vist siiani olnud, va ehk shotikatega labakud.
Ja siis ma leidsin selle raamatu ja ma tundsin tolle kindamudeli ära. Need olid läti tüüpi kindad, mis mul lapsepõlves olid! Siin on natukene autorist ja see on päris huvitav elu tal :).
Aga keda huvitavad veel läti kindamustrid, siis siin on juttu ja pilte päris palju.
I had a pair of mittens in my childhood. The pair was the most amazing I ever had, with red-white-green colours. All the other mittens were different, typical estonian. But these mittens... ehhh... the length of mitten was longer than usual, the pattern was great and these were my favourite mittens! After the mittens were completely broken, mom cut off the startings and kept these for memories.
Then happened that I found the book, this book and I recognized the model. These mittens from my childhood were like latvian folk mittens!
