Skyr!

Kohe varsti saabub minu lauale otse Islandist SKYR!
Ma olen siiani tulutult kõiki oma tuttavaid, kel Islandile minek ees, piiinanud sel teemal aga keegi pole toonud :(. Ja nüüd, kallis kolleeg halastas ja helistas just, et kohe saabub. Oeh, ma olen nii elevil!!!

I lived in Iceland for one month and one day. The most delicious thing to eat for me there was skyr, icelandic milk product.

Skyr (pronounced “skeer”) is a unique non-fat dairy specialty and a traditional national dish. Made from fresh Icelandic cow´s milk, it has been a staple of the Icelandic diet since the Vikings first brought it with them when they settled the country more than 1,100 years ago.

A week ago my colleque told me about her Iceland trip. I asked her to bring me skyr and she did!!! She just called me that she is on her way here... Oh, it is so good to have nice colleques! :)))
