1. What is/are your favorite yarn/s to knit with?

My favourite yarn is thick and warm.
Lopi from Iceland for example is just great!
And homemade yarn is interesting, for example like these there .

What fibers do you absolutely *not* like?
Actually I don`t know is there some yarn I don`t like at all. Maybe some very fury.

2. What do you use to store your needles/hooks in?

Everywhere :))). I can found these from yarn bags, from wardrobe, from selves etc.

3. How long have you been knitting?

From childhood I think. I remember that I did knit some sweaters to my dolls and had handwork lessons at school.

Would you consider your skill level to be beginner, intermediate or advanced?

My skill level is advanced I hope.

4. Do you have an Amazon or other online wish list?

Yes I have wishlist in amazon.

5. What's your favorite scent? (for candles, bath products etc.)

Something fresh - fruits, watermelon, apple etc

6. Do you have a sweet tooth? Favorite candy?

I like sweets much, especially white chocolate.

7. What other crafts or Do-It-Yourself things do you like to do? Do you spin?

I`d like to spin but I don`t have an equipment for it and experiences. I like to play wool yarn -to colour it for herbs for example. I like felting much, it is new for me and I discovered it last winter. Sometimes I do some crochet project, too. I did lot cross-stitch pictures in childhood but I don`t like it much anymore. Maybe just some little scottie`s for gift;). I can do bobbin lace, too. But knitting is my favourite!

8. What kind of music do you like?

There will be the latest playlist attached to my blog ( edit: you`ll find it here). I hope it describes my taste best. It consist of several musicians from Estonia - I like to pay as much attention to the lyrics as to the music. There is some classic and even metal :D. And also some folk and blues. It depends on mood and feelings.

Yes, it plays

9. What's your favorite color? Or--do you have a color family/season/palette you prefer? Any colors you just can't stand?

I like green and orange much, warm and fresh palette. But also sky blue, white and warm red.

10. What is your family situation? Do you have any pets?

I live with my 2 female scottish terrier - 6 year old Blacky and 2 year old Suska (Suzanna) and one female cat Betty.

11. Do you wear scarves, hats, mittens or ponchos?

Scarves not so much but mittens and ponchos yes, I like them!

12. What is/are your favorite item/s to knit?

Socks, sweaters, cardigans. I love cables!

13. What are you knitting right now?

Sweater to my collegue`s small 1 year boy. And I plan to start one cow sweater for one landseer dog owner :)

Yes, I´d like to!

15. Do you prefer straight or circular needles? Bamboo, aluminum, plastic?

Circular, plastic. I don`t have any bamboo needles, I have no idea how comfortable these are

17. How did you learn to knit?

By myself, read some books and made a lot of knitting experiments :)

18. How old is your oldest UFO?

I reviewed latelty all my stuff and found just one pair of cotton socks from past. These may be
10 years old and I think I should finish these for summer. Usually I don`t have UFOs.

It`s Christmas

21. Any books, yarns, needles or patterns out there you are dying to get your hands on? What knitting magazine subscriptions do you have?

I like much Epstein`s wonderful books and I have couple of them (over and on the edge). I like much one Viking patterns book and Girl from Auntie`s patterns like Rogue and Eris. Both of these sweters I have already, too.

I don`t have currently any magazine subscriptions, I buy usually some magazines from shop or thr the knitting forum as there are several people who travel much and are agree to bring with them some. I like Rowan much and Interwave Knitting.

22. Are there any new techniques you'd like to learn?

I`d like to learn spinning and knitting with weaving looms. It is old and interesing technics in Estonia and I really like to learn it. Also I`d like to learn furniture restoration as we have some pieces of old furniture and I`d like to have some experiences how to repair these. I like old things, these have their own life, history.

23. Are you a sock knitter? What are your foot measurements?

Yes, I love socks! There may be very cold in winter in Estonia and socks are something you must have here! My foot measurements is 37.
